Eating my way through Bangkok

February 16, 2017

From street food, night markets to high-end restaurants, I enjoyed eating my way through Bangkok. I love all sorts of food, home style cooking to casual, street food to what Japanese people would call “Grade B gourmet” (such as ramen, izakaya style, etc.with) to fancy coursed meals. Add to good company and joyful conversations; nothing can’t beat that.

When I’m traveling, I want to enjoy as much local food as possible, but after a while, I start to crave some soup and rice. Very Japanese of me, I know. LOL. Nowadays, there are many Japanese restaurants all over the place whether they’re authentic or sort of Japanese; it will do the job tho.  In the case of Bangkok, being in Asia, I didn’t once crave Japanese food. I know it’s not miso soup and rice, but I can eat tom yum kung and jasmine rice all week.

Anyway, my food craving aside, while we were there, we occasionally went to Italian restaurants to take some break from Thai food, and I must say I was very impressed with the level of Italian restaurants in Bangkok. It was as good as L.A.’s!

Here are some recommendations I don’t really want to share….but here we go. (no specific order)
